Dickinson Williams advises on the sale of Sauls Seismic and Nomis Seismographs

Dickinson Williams & Company served as the exclusive financial advisor to Sauls Seismic, LLC (“Sauls”) and Nomis Seismographs, LLC (“Nomis”), portfolio companies of Lazarus Capital Partners, in their sale to Benford Capital Partners (“Benford Capital”).

Sauls and Nomis provide industrial technology and service solutions to help customers in the quarrying, construction/infrastructure, and mining sectors meet regulatory requirements and mitigate risks pertaining to their operations and projects.

Hewes Hull, Managing Partner at Lazarus Capital Partners, stated, “We have worked with Dickinson Williams on multiple engagements over the years, and their professionalism and expertise in the middle market are a true value add to us. We are grateful for their assistance, and we enjoy the relationship with the firm more each time we work with them.”

Commenting on the new investment, Benford Capital Managing Director Edward Benford added, “We are thrilled to partner with the Sauls and Nomis teams to build a larger seismic and environmental monitoring services platform. This is BCP’s 6th Industrial Technology platform, and we look forward to leveraging our collective experience scaling successful companies and being a value-added partner to this experienced team.”

“We enjoyed the opportunity to work with Lazarus and the management teams at Sauls and Nomis to identify the right partner to support the continued growth and diversification of the companies, both organically and through targeted acquisitions in the test and measurement equipment and services space,” said Harold Williams, Managing Director of Dickinson Williams.

Maynard Cooper & Gale served as legal counsel to Lazarus Capital Partners, Sauls, and Nomis.
